Designed as part of an extension and renovation in Templeogue, this project showcases Kerwood Design’s expertise in creating bespoke kitchens and custom cabinetry throughout the home. Working alongside Emmet Duggan Architects, we designed and crafted a contemporary open plan kitchen, utility room, home study and bespoke furniture for the adjoining living spaces.

The kitchen combines a rich chocolate oak stained stepped-frame door with a contrasting island handpainted in Farrow & Ball Mouse’s Back, creating a sophisticated balance of warmth and contemporary elegance. A dramatic wall of integrated appliances is framed by dark cabinetry wrapping around the landscape window, while the island provides a lighter focal point at the heart of the room. Taj Mahal Quartzite worktops, a BORA venting hob, Siemens appliances and a Quooker tap complete the scheme.

A bespoke reeded glass display cabinet was designed as a furniture piece within the open plan layout, creating a subtle connection between the kitchen and living areas. Beyond the kitchen, the project includes a beautifully appointed utility room handpainted in Cashmere, featuring matching hardware and integrated Siemens laundry appliances.

Custom crafted cabinetry continues throughout the home, including a bespoke media wall and alcove storage in the TV room finished in Farrow & Ball Skimming Stone, together with a tailored home study handpainted in Farrow & Ball Green Smoke with a walnut desk and coordinating accents. The result is a cohesive collection of bespoke interiors, thoughtfully designed for modern family living.
